We created festive delights today with locally sourced natural materials... wreaths, mobiles, and hanging stars.
The room was filled with the scent of orange. And the lemony aroma from the twigs.
The group used adornments, pinecones, wooden beads, bells, ribbon, twine and hessian to decorate their hangings.
Time went so quickly that we didn't even manage to make a card each for the holiday season. We had to quickly pack up and head off to our Wild with Wheels Festive get together at the local gastro pub.
We've certainly got more ideas for next year's festive craft session. We're looking forward to our next session at Fort Bugoyne on 11th January, where we will be joined by Geologist and Fellow North Downs Way Ambassador Simon Drake for our rock and Fossils theme... where we will be learning all about the rocks from the Kent Downs and see fossils from the local Warren. Followed by rock and fossil themed craft.
