We met for our 2022 Festive Scoot at Folkestone's Warren and became the Ice Breakers, enjoying the sound of ice made as we rolled over the broken pieces of former puddles.
Bright warm sunshine kept our outdoor adventure nice and pleasant - despite our surroundings being a chilling 1-2°c.
All Wheelers kept warm with extra layers, blankets, hot water bottles, gloves, scarves and, to top it all, we shared hot cocoa and alcohol-free mulled wine with a mince pie.
A friendly robin kept us company along route, and we snacked on ripe rosehips which filled us with goodness.
A bitterly cold breeze from the sea started to bite so we decided to stay up on the higher ground with shelter from the elements. We could enjoy the view from up there.
A couple of the mobility machines developed technical hitches, so we played it safe, and made the most of our precious monthly visit to The Warren.
We're looking forward to more adventures there next year ... will you join us?
