Wild with Wheels is delighted to invite you to join us at Folkestone Warren on Thursday 8th December at 10-12pm for a FREE accessible nature adventure on wheels, exploring this Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) on Kent's award winning Heritage Coast.
This location has recently been granted special access to suitable mobility scooter/ powerchair and competent off road wheelchair users.
There are lots of uneven surfaces as some paths are natural and not surfaced. There are also a few steeper gradients to be aware of depending on your equipment or
Unfortunately our assessment shows that this location is currently not suitable to attendant led / self propelled wheelchairs.
Therefore the challenge rating of this walk is level 3+ (RED).

Additionally there aren't many sit spots en route so those with mobility restrictions should bring a sitting aid such as an all terrain rollator or seated stick, if able to walk for quite a distance, but with rests in between.
PLEASE NOTE: There are NO disabled access toilets on the site, so walks are limited to 2 hours maximum. There is a small carpark with no specified Disabled Parking spots. So parking on site is a first come first served basis.
We'll be exploring the grounds taking time to enjoy the surroundings. Join us and get close to nature with our experienced Support Walkers.
We'll be enjoying the beauty of the landscape, as well as identifying some of the local coastal fauna and flora or to take photographs.
