Join us for a cliff top stroll above the infamous White cliffs of Dover. The newly installed accessible path, and wheelchair accessible gates have opened up a section of Kent's award-winning (Worldwide Lonely Planet 2022) Heritage Coastal walk.

As it's colder, we will be changing to a later session time of 10:45am to 12:30pm (for an 11am start). We can provide blankets, hot water bottles and ponchos to keep you warm.

Overlook the Port of Dover to see the ferries and cruise terminal, along with far-reaching views across the Channel, where on a good day we can see France, its white cliffs and Calais.

We explore this part of Kent Downs AONB, the chalk grassland that forms the Cross Channel GeoPark.

And we also get a fabulous view of Dover Castle when returning to the visitor centre, which serves refreshments and the National Trust shop to browse.

🐕‍🦺 Support dogs and well-behaved dogs (and their owners) welcome (please notify the host if participants may be afraid of dogs in advance)

Accessibility and Challenge Rating

This location is suitable for mobility scooter/ powerchair and competent wheelchair users. There are some steep inclines, that will require wheeled assistance. Support is offered for navigating challenging conditions safely.
